Companions under star’s wait

I’ve been waiting for you beneath the silent sparkling night,
Under cherry blossoms floral shower,
Beside the pristine waters;
That continuously echoes along with all of the earth’s leaves…
With my back touching the grass,
I look up.
I relax;
As the petals fall on my cheek,
As they softly slide down my face,
I close my eyes and see you; Still a blank image in my mind’s theatre.

I don’t want this…
What I want is to feel that you’re real,
To know who you are
And just hold you in my arms…

So finally I open my eyes.
I then notice;
I am surrounded by butterflies just hovering over my flower-covered self.
Slowly they gather beside me and over my empty stretched-out arm.
And for a moment,
I feel that you’re there.
But you’re not there…
I am alone.

Then slowly,
One emerges from the collection; the only white butterfly.
It flies over my eyes,
And a star suddenly twinkles behind it…

And there,
It was beautiful…
Looking beyond the falling petals,
And past sakura’s shade of leaves,
The stars shine.
I am in the presence of God’s gift to the galaxy;
That appears as diamonds floating in empty space.


But there’s still something missing.
Despite all of these wondrous events,
The pure feeling of the hollow space never left
And the formed flower bed beside me still appears empty.

And so I ask myself,
“How could I have and feel all of this without you?”

I just can’t.
Having these events flow through me, didn’t even produce a smile.
You are the only one that can make that happen.

So once again,
I’ll close my eyes…
And this time, I’ll sleep.
And in me, time will stop.
I’ll wait for you.
And until you come,
It will be only then that time continues,
And I will truly feel the grass the wind and the flowers
And allow the stars as a memory of my vision.

As you ease onto my side,
My wait will end.
I will be happy.
